Victor Claver is a professional basketball player from Spain who was born on August 30, 1988. He stands 6 feet 9 inches tall and primarily plays the power forward and small forward positions. Claver began his professional career in 2006 with Valencia Basket Club and spent six seasons with the team, winning several domestic and international titles.
In 2012, Claver was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round, 22nd overall, and played for the team for three seasons. He then returned to Europe and played for several teams in Spain and Russia before signing with FC Barcelona in 2019.
Claver has also played for the Spanish national basketball team and won gold medals at the FIBA EuroBasket in 2011 and 2015, as well as a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Claver is known for his versatility on both ends of the court and has a reputation as a tough defender.
